2. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to addresses within Canada and to the continental United States. We may consider expanding to additional regions in the future; any updates will be announced on our website. At this time, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or destinations outside of Canada and the contiguous United States.
3. Order Processing & Handling Time
All orders are processed from our fulfillment center in Laval, Québec, within 1-2 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding Québec and Canadian national holidays) after payment authorization is received. This time is required for order verification, payment clearance, picking, quality checks, and secure packaging of your items to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
Orders placed after 12:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) or on weekends/holidays will be processed on the next business day.
4. Shipping Methods, Delivery Timelines & Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the selected service, package weight and dimensions, and the destination’s delivery address. The final shipping cost will be displayed before you complete your purchase. Below are our primary shipping options:
- Standard Shipping (Canada):
- Estimated Delivery: 5-12 business days after processing.
- Details: Economical service via Canada Post or a regional carrier. A tracking number is usually provided.
- Expedited Shipping (Canada & USA):
- Estimated Delivery: 3-7 business days after processing.
- Details: Faster service via carriers like Canada Post Expedited, UPS, or Purolator. Includes full tracking and may require a signature upon delivery.
- Express Shipping (Canada & USA):
- Estimated Delivery: 1-3 business days after processing.
- Details: Priority service for urgent needs, delivered by couriers such as FedEx Express or UPS Express. Includes comprehensive tracking and signature confirmation.
Please Note: Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. They do not include order processing time and may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as carrier delays, customs clearance (for US orders), weather, or incorrect addressing.
5. Free Shipping Promotion
We occasionally offer promotional free standard shipping within Canada on orders that meet a specified minimum purchase value. Details of any active promotion will be clearly displayed on our homepage and product pages. Free shipping promotions may not apply to expedited or express services.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to monitor your package’s journey. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active in the carrier’s system.
7. Shipping Address & Delivery Instructions
- Address Accuracy: You are solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address during checkout. Please double-check all details, including apartment/suite numbers and postal/ZIP codes.
- Address Corrections: Contact us immediately at cephal@echo-home.com if you need to correct an address. If the order has not yet been shipped, we will attempt to update it. We are not liable for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
- Failed Deliveries & Undeliverable Packages: If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful (e.g., no one is available to sign, incorrect address), the carrier will typically leave a notice with instructions for pickup or redelivery. Packages that are unclaimed, refused, or deemed undeliverable will be returned to us. In such cases, reshipment fees and any return shipping costs charged by the carrier will apply.
8. International Shipments (USA) & Customs
For orders shipped to the United States:
- Duties & Taxes: All prices on our website are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). The recipient is solely responsible for paying any applicable import duties, taxes (such as US Customs fees, HST/GST, or local sales taxes), and brokerage fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not collected or controlled by E.C.H.O. and will be billed directly by the shipping carrier or customs authority upon arrival.
9. Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Packages
- Damaged on Arrival: If your package arrives visibly damaged, please note the damage with the carrier at the time of delivery if possible, and contact us within 48 hours at cephal@echo-home.com with photos of the damaged package and its contents. We will work with the carrier to file a claim and arrange for a replacement or resolution promptly.
- Lost in Transit: If your tracking information shows no movement for an extended period beyond the estimated delivery window, please contact us. We will initiate a trace with the carrier. If the package is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will, at our discretion, reship your items or provide store credit.
- Stolen Packages: E.C.H.O. is not responsible for packages that are stolen after being delivered to the address provided. We recommend using a secure location for delivery if you are not available to receive it.
10. Order Changes, Cancellations, & Returns
- Changes & Cancellations: To modify or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We can only accommodate changes if the order has not progressed to the “Shipped” status. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled.
- Returns: All returns are governed by our separate Refund and Returns Policy. For returns not due to our error, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please refer to the full Returns Policy on our website for eligibility and instructions.
